Franklin VFW Post 3402 is ready to bring back our Auxiliary! Unfortunately our auxiliary was a victim of COVID, but we are eager to get our new Auxiliary up and running!
To do so we need to find 15 brand new auxiliary members. Once we have these 15 identified and approved we can welcome back any prior auxiliary member and the new group will conduct their elections and be issued a charter from the National Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Eligible auxiliary members are grandparents, parents, the spouse, siblings, children, and grandchildren of VFW eligible veterans. The VFW eligible veteran can be dead or alive and doesn't have to be a VFW member, just eligible for membership.

Members of Post 3402 are still serving! The Post is one of about 30 in the state that is a designated collection point for individuals and businesses to donate PPE.
We've had 2 pick ups already. The National Guard has picked up these items and brought them to the MEMA warehouse where they are then distributed out to organizations in need of PPE.
To donate please click the link below and go to MEMA's website where you can offer your donation. They will provide you with a donor ID that you'll need when you schedule your drop off.
Have you heard of Honor Flight New England? They provide opportunities (at no cost to the veteran) for WWII and Korean War veterans to fly down to Washington, D.C. for the day and see the memorials to their wars.
